Meet Your Colorado Doula
Monique Moore
Hi! I'm Monique and I am passionate about serving women and families. I've been a mom for over 30 years, and I still remember my firs birth like it was yesterday! I have given birth 9 times and have 11 children. I have personally experienced natural births in the hospital, as well as a Cesarean, 4 homebirths and a final high-risk pregnancy with our precious son with Down Syndrome. Along the way, I've learned a few things about the parenthood journey, and I love to encourage families on theirs. With 14 years of birth experience, I've seen both what birth can be like, and what lack of support and knowledge leads to. I come alongside women and guide them to a more satisfying birth experience with tools to walk in their values in the sacred birth space.
My husband and I live on the plains east of Colorado Springs with our (still-at-home) five boys, 9 chickens and 3 cats. We enjoy trying to get things to grow out here, hikes in the mountains and a good family read-aloud. We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3)
